Does your life often seem empty
and without meaning?
Do you often feel guilty, lonely, and weary?
Jesus Christ can change your whole life and give you joy and peace. The life that God offers is full, meaningful,
and eternal. This life can be yours by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior - by becoming a Christian and having
eternal life.
The first step one must take in becoming a Christian is acknowledging that
you are a sinner. We have all sinned. We are all sinners.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
The second
reality that must be understood is God sent his son Jesus Christ into this world to save sinners and to give all that believe
in Him eternal life.
For the
wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
The next
point that must be understood is that only by being "born" again into a new spiritual life, through Jesus Christ,
can one see or enter the kingdom of God.
In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
John 3:3
Jesus answered, "I
am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
The ONLY way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ, not by works or good deeds.
The last step in becoming a Christian is believing in your heart and asking Jesus Christ to forgive you
of your sins.
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised
him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth
that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says,
"Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame." Romans 10:9-11
THE
GOOD NEWS! For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved! God's gift of eternal life is yours for
the taking. Jesus Christ was crucified for your sins and mine. If you're tired of an empty life, bow your head and repeat
the following prayer and experience the joy that only Christ can give us:
Dear Lord, I know I have done wrong and need forgiveness. Thank you for dying for my sins
and for offering me eternal life. Please forgive my sins and help me to turn from them. I now confess you as my Lord and receive
you as my Savior. Take control of my life and make it full and meaningful. In Jesus' name, Amen.
