God has given our pastor a vision for Christ's Fellowship. It is to be a place where people can really experience the church as it was intended to be. Authentic Christian Community will be experienced at Christ's Fellowship through the shepherding groups and celebration. Here is some information about Dr. Jay C. Farrar - whom we know and love as Pastor Jay.

Dr. Farrar was licensed at First Baptist Church, Belton Texas, and ordained at Connell Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, Texas. The pastor holds a BA in Music Education from Baylor University, Waco, Texas, and an MA of Music from Southwestern Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas, where he also received his Master of Divinity. He also earned a Clinical Pastoral Education from Memorial Medical Center, a Clinical Membership from the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Before founding Christ's Fellowship, Pastor Jay served at Lexington Baptist Church for 28-1/2 years. Dr. Farrar also served as an Associate Pastor at Connell Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Minister of Music and Youth at First Baptist, Belton, Texas.
